Contact ESPN Radio 1250!
The 'MF'ers and all loyal listeners of super-genius Mark Madden need to contact ESPN and tell them to put Mark back on the air ASAP! Show Mark how big of a 'big fan' you really are!
Best place to do this? Use the ESPN Radio 1250 Contacts Page and contact General Manager Mike Thompson and Program Director Jim Graci to voice your displeasure with ESPN giving into the demands of BoB Smizik and his good buddy Whines Hard. Don't forget to call the Yinzer Yap Line @ (412) 244-4565 to tell Eddy Crow to hike it back to the FM DJ gig and leave the sports talk to the professionals.
If anybody has more phone numbers or emails at ESPN, feel free to leave them in the comments and I'll post them here!

So....you're upset that Bob Smizik used his newspaper column as a means to exact a vendetta against Mark Madden. Yet Madden constantly uses his show to grind axes against anything and anyone who offends him. Remember the insults and threats against those who opposed the Isle of Capri casino? The long-running bashing of Hines Ward and Jerome Bettis simply because they didn't want to be on his show? And of course, his ongoing issues with the same Bob Smizik. Better find something better than the "vendetta" argument to get him back on the air because that one is going nowhere.
I actually listened to Mark's shows regularly and came to appreciate his intelligence and even a little of his bombastic delivery. Still, if you are going to play the part as the baddest man on local sports radio and insult anyone who you disagree with, your going to have to take a few punches along the way. It may be awhile, but he'll be back. His ratings were too good for him to be permanently off the air.

has an article on the firing...post a comment, PFT is where ESPN gets most of it's football news.
Oh look, Smizik managed to take his eloquent writing skills and add it to his witch hunt HERE. Psh. Get out.
If there is ANY WAY that I may lend support to the Super Genius, please count me.
Let's break this down a little bit.
If a person has 'hightened' sensibilites then they probably are not going to go see an R rated flick.
Why? ..because it's R-rated.. they have a modicum of an idea that they may experience something they don't like. Foo-ey on them if they attend the movie anyway and get 'offended'
No listener was 'put out' by the comments Mr. Madden spoke. Listeners are loyal and trained. Were Mr. Maddens comments 'colorful'.. maybe; however there isn't a listener to his Top Rated show who was offended.. except for the piss-ant who has a grudge.
If Pittsburgh loses Mark Madden it would be a crime. Heck, it's already a crime that some estrogen-impaired smack off has contributed to his dismissal.
Super Genius still remains the voice and choice for a new generation.
Smize-off may not recognize that, but he's irrelevant anyway

How did your little "Free Willie" campaign do? I heard fat phauk is editing the beaver town gazette or something like that. haha
The Super Genius is on the X, has bigger ratings than ever before, and his beloved Pens won the Stanley Cup.
While Bob Smizik has been reduced to a stay at home non printing blogger on a dying newspapers web site, and 1250 continues to lose ratings and ad money.
I'd say karma is a wonderful thing.
